Welcome to the Louis O'Toole website. Though broadly a landscape and wildlife
artist, he is not always so easy to categorize.
He is as happy painting the minute detail of a dragonfly's wings as he is working on the broad sweep
of a mountain landscape. Sometimes it is not easy to know if he has faithfully rendered a scene or has
his imagination gone rampant on some wild flight of fancy. Take the time to look closely. Delight in his attention
to the smallest detail and be surprised at what you may find.
A well established artist of international renown, he has had numerous solo exhibititions,
and has taken part in many others.
He is involved with book and magazine illustration. He has also published limited edition prints of his work.
